Scan Upload
- Create a new project and upload scans from your iMapper or from the folder where they are stored. After this operation, the files will be saved to the cloud, enabling the creation of plans and automatic assembly.
- Upload All Scans
- If there are multiple floors, it is preferable to upload the scans into different groups to facilitate automated assembly.
- Upload point clouds to the platform and merge different rooms using the automatic algorithm. This boosts supply chain efficiency by up to 85%, reduces emissions by 60% on average, and cuts costs by 40%.
- Manual Assembly (When Automatic Merging Fails)
Separate an unmerged scan and use reference points to align it manually. This is useful for correcting errors such as missing walls or misaligned data.
‣
If a scan or element is not found during assembly, use the history search tool to locate and integrate it, or manually add reference points for alignment.
- Simplify communication with iMapper teams and your collaborators by sharing a link to the project.
- Combine with DXF files for enhanced communication with external designers.
- Use for internal communication or quoting requests. Only an internet connection and the link are required. Share the project with collaborators with 1 click (no login required).
- All scans are saved on the cloud and accessible from anywhere, using any operating system and computer. The license allows several users to log in and work simultaneously.
Tape Measure Tool and Changing Units:
- This tool allows you to measure any element of your project. Select the measurement tool from the toolbar. Point to a starting point (feel free to zoom in as much as possible) and confirm with a left mouse click, then select an endpoint and confirm with a left mouse click.
- You can use the Shift key to toggle to Ortho mode, limiting cursor movements to horizontal and vertical directions for greater precision. The measurement appears on the left side of the screen, at the bottom of the toolbar. To exit the tool, press the Space key on your keyboard.
- You can change the unit of measurement in the Preferences tab, available above the image at the top right, by clicking on your email address.
- Draw a surface to demonstrate tracing, adding/removing points, and exporting area data to Excel or other software.
- Include ceiling height to calculate wall surfaces (using vertical scans, a laser meter, or the vertical ruler tool).
Vertical Ruler Tool
- Auto-calibration occurs after several scans. Use it to measure ceiling heights and link the data to drawn areas.
